Tildaworks is pleased to announce our server and network upgrades. Our servers are IBM servers with 8 3 gigahertz intel processors. Each server has a redundant backup to insure uptime service for our customers. Each server has a specific function to enable proper processing without wait overheads. For example our webserver and its back server only function is that of a webserver. The same is said for our database servers and mail servers.

Each server's hardware consists of 15K rpm scsi disks. A10 gigabyte solid state drives for quick boot. And  a 1 gigabyte per second network ports.

Other functioning servers include a round robin DNS server which constantly pings the servers. In case of a failed server . The backup server will  come into service and the problematic service will be taken out of service.

The network has also been upgraded. Our network consists of an OC3 connection to QWEST via a direct loop installed at the NOC. The network is backed up with a natural gas generator incase of blackouts. All of this infrastructure upgrade is to insure a stable and consistent service to you, our customers.

Technology News

Tildaworks web application has come full circle with the respect to deployment and capabilities. The application server is based on the Perl Language. Because it was written in Perl it allows for tighter security and greater flexibility into its core. One key advantage of Perl is its vast library of modules. This allows for quick developmental enhancements and lower cost of implementation. If a feature is needed and the feature set is in the library it doesn't take long for the needed function to come on line.
