   Looking to the future

Tildaworks leverages open source technologies to their fullest  extent. Many of the programs you pay for from closed source vendors have open source alternatives. The links under "Site Partners" on the left are but some of the open source technologies we use. If you have ever wondered what you get for that license besides a fancy piece of paper, then, perhaps a look into what open source may add to you bottom line.

Here at Tildaworks we have worked with many of the top open source alternative since 1998. We've abeen involved with many of the projects since their infancy during their alpha stages. Most of the programs have gone into full developement and have been deployed in many top corporate enviroments from server level installs to enterprise level computing.

For the most part we deploy "Linux". Why? because it is stable. It is adaptable. It is maluable, and it is 'FREE'. It has been deployed from banking systems, to telecommunications, to embedded devices with much success. If you haven't thought about the open source alternative. I know your competition has.

Tildaworks uses interchange for the front-end of its web-application. Interchange has been around since 1995 and has grown into one of the top tier application services on the net. I personally have used it as a CRM application, a web commerce application, and a database interface to name a few. Interchange is adaptable to the latest technologies such as AJAX and XML interfaces. Interchange powers our web-applications by leveraging other pieces of technologies such as PERL, MYSQL, PostgreSQL, SOAP, and others to make it our application of choice. Interchange is not locked into a single stream development architecture. It allows you to pick and choose which database, language, and architecture to deploy. We believe that the future of design will come from such applications. So we choose to use the application of today, for tomorrow, and with its legacy, for all time.
